Discover the World of Anti-Reflective Lenses for Electronic Devices

Is your equipment used outside in bright sunlight? Are your clients constantly having to adjust screen brightness or angle your electronic device just to get a clear view?

Using electronic devices without anti-reflective lenses can be a huge drawback. That’s where anti-reflective lenses come to the rescue! Keep reading to discover how these amazing lenses revolutionise your experience with electronic devices

The demand for optical components is set to increase across a range of industries, including telecommunications, healthcare, aerospace, and defence. This demand is fuelled by emerging technologies like 5G, loT, which increases the use of devices in outdoor applications.

At Setolic, we are always seeking technological advancements and will continue to aim for more efficient and sustainable components. We look forward to partnering with industry leaders, designers and engineers to pioneer groundbreaking solutions that meet the evolving needs of various sectors

Benefits of Anti-Reflective Lenses:

1. Improved Screen Clarity: Anti-reflective lenses reduce glare and reflection, providing you with clearer, crisper images on your screens.

2. Comfortable Viewing Experience: By reducing eye strain and fatigue caused by screen glare, these lenses promote a more comfortable viewing experience during long hours of screen use.

3. Enhanced Device Aesthetics: Electronic devices often look sleeker and more attractive when equipped with anti-reflective lenses due to their reduced reflective properties.

4. Screen Protection: Increase the scratch resistance of your device with polycarbonate, acrylic or glass lenses.

Types of Antiglare:

1. Polycarbonate:  A multi-layer anti reflective, AR, coating produced by vacuum deposition. It is available in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 5.0mm. It is also available as a one sided or two sided coated polycarbonate sheet.

2. Acrylic: Also available as a multi-layer anti reflection, AR, coating produced by vacuum deposition. It is available from 0.5mm to 8.0mm thick and as a one sided or two sided coated acrylic sheet.

3. Glass coating: Our coating is designed to minimise reflection and maximise transmittance on glass substrates over the visible spectrum. It is especially useful in applications involving high resolution displays.
